No one can talk about Rollie without smiling.  My 15-year-old Welch pony is Mr. Personality.  Many children have learned to ride astride his strong back and he seems to believe that anyone small belongs to him.  He greets his people friends with pricked ears and a searching nose.  As you can see from his pictures, there is a reason his first owner named him Roly Poly Ollie.  I was going to call him Sultan, but somehow the name Rollie  stuck.

As luck would have it, Major’s trainer, Kelli Brown, is small enough to ride Rollie in addition to riding my Thoroughbred, Major. She showed Rollie last year in a few jumping classes and we plan on showing him again this year in Eventing and jumping classes. Stay tuned.
